A Rare 1820 George IV James Warren Childe miniature painting of Thomas Leyland (c. 1752–1827) of Liverpool, mayor, banker and owner of slave ships. The front miniature is mounted in a rose gold colour frame and seed pearls. The rear of the miniature is set with a locket of hair.
