Diplomat in China from oct 1948 (his first posting, vice consul), until 1951 (Nanking then Beijing formaly known as Peking and some time in Shanghai), then he returned with family and we were all in Peking/Beijing between 1965 until 1968 during the Chinese cultural revolution.
